29-Jan-05 Chris Rea once wrote a revolting composition known to many as ‘Road to Hell’. Well Chris Rea fans, your dreams have just come true, you can now be buried in your very own wooden Mercedes to ease the trip downstairs. If that’s not your thing then you could always pick a 6-foot bible, giant hammer or perhaps even a goliath sized uterus , though none of have heated seats or GPS navigation (I’ll have to check on the uterus).Apparently these are all the rage in Ghaaaanaaaa at the moment!
23-Jan-05 In a display of blatant thievery I will further my procrastination with the following questionnaire1. What's the total size of music files on your computer? currently 13.9 GB but I've just raided my housemate's collection so it's on the increase2. What was the last cd you bought? Boards of Canada - Music has the right to children, tis pretty good ROYGBIV being the best track. Not as conducive to be working as I had hoped however!3. What's the last song you listened to before you read this post? Playground Love by Air off the Virgin Suicides OST. This album is my new obsession. Many thanks to Paul for the heads up!4. Name four songs that you listen to a lot or that mean a lot to you. Ani DiFranco - Untouchable Face. Pertinent for so many reasons. At the Drive In - One Armed Scissor. I spent a whole summer before uni listening to this when I was working 10 - 3, then going swimming, nipping home for lunch and then working 6-11 again in a dusty little warehouse in chessington. To this day I can't listen to it without thinking of chlorine and cardboard boxes. It's also impossible to cycle slowly to it. Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother. Got me through some pretty tough times...subsequently I can't listen to it anymore. But it means a lot... Zero 7 - Distractions. Theme to my first year at uni.
13-Jan-05 New review of Grosse Pointe Blank added!11-Jan-05 I've just added a films section with bits and bobs on my recent purchases and in doing so further evaded my dissertation. I've also updated my flickr with some more silly photos if you're interested.9-Jan-05 This only here to make me feel like a seasoned blogger...8-Jan-05 Hello my new website appears to be...here!
Firstly...I would like to apologise for the name of the site while it is indeed an homage to my own
import...is also, given my need to head out to a world of work, somewhere to shove my CV and have a
lovely poncy e-mail address etc... So far from being a hard hitting incite into the life of me....its
going to be rather dull with some links to those bits and bobs that amuse me and my fascinating CV.
